- Yeah, WWE needs to do more with the guys you mentioned like Jack Swagger and Sheamus, and others that WWE needs to capitalize on, that's for sure. So I hope WWE Creative will push the "Youth Movement" that they promised, because eventually, the veterans will soon leave and retire in the wrestling business.

Alex Riley can get the push and they just put him on the back burner ready and waiting for his call to the front line.

- And like I said, WWE needs to be VERY careful on how to approach on handling Alex Riley, because one mistake, and it's a make or break for his WWE Career.

I actually liked Mcmahon's statement on this past weeks raw when he said he could make a new cena 10 cena's if need be. Absolute proof he does give you the ball to run with and test your ability and how you handle and then puts you back for the ready.

- Yeah. If Vince can produce another "new John Cena" if necessary, so yeah, and I hope he gives others opportunities to run with the ball, testing your abilities, how to handle stuff... and such.

I saw a few things that did make me still appreciate sheamus (besides the fact he is a heel) and even jack swagger. Wwe still leave the door open for these guys, and do flashes of elements that show you these guys are still very dangerous and should never be taken for granted. ie: Sin cara through the ladder in this years MITB.

Alex Riley can get the push and they just put him on the back burner ready and waiting for his call to the front line, I actually liked Mcmahon's statement on this past weeks raw when he said he could make a new cena 10 cena's if need be. Absolute proof he does give you the ball to run with and test your ability and how you handle and then puts you back for the ready.

I agree with this strategy god forbid if the CM Punk storyline played out for the top two stars in wwe and cena walked into the other show brother. And mcmahon had not given any of these other guys a run at all nobody would believe they could ever have gotten to that level while cena was there if they hadn't been there before. Mcmahon needs much respect for what he said at this weeks raw even saying he has long term projects that have many possible endings. I have to agree with the juggernaught here and know that not all pushes appear pointless.

Indeed. Let's hope WWE Creative is careful on how to handle this push of Alex Riley properly, or else, if they don't, it will fail, and then, it'll be a HUGE letdown of that.

To clarify my stance on Riley (I wouldn't want anyone to think I have some shred of ...importance in wrestling) I want to see him succeed in this business....build him up slowly so that he earns his spot. I dont wanna see Riley become the next Jack Swagger or Sheamus...in other words I dont want to see him go from Main Event to Midcard in a matter of months.

I'm guessing JJ was saying push him slower... Which I agree...

Alex Riley is starting to grow on me, in my opinion. I hope he can be one of the best young guns they have. He can wrestle and cut some interesting promos. Of course, WWE Creative needs to be careful on how to approach the push of Alex. Take it nice and easy and book him effectively in certain matches. He's getting a great reaction from the live audience in attendance. Hopefully, it doesn't die down. This is a make or break for Alex on this.

I think he has alot going for him, BUT, WWE needs to be careful not to push him too far, too fast, because when the time comes to level him out a bit, they need to be able to do it, without him losing all credibility as fast as he gained it. Miz was the perfect heel example of doing it slow enough that once he dropped the belt, there was somewhere else to go. Cena is the example of what not to do, He has been pushed so much that if he doesnt have the belt, ot fighting for it, Creative has almost nowhere to go with him.

I think Riley has potential to be a big star its just a matter of time. He is over A) due to epic music & B) The Miz is so over as a heel he got a good rub. I think the 'E are just looking for the right time, if he wins MITB, People think he is a Miz clone so I dont think him winning MITB will help much. He needs a few mid-card titles or maybe even a tag team title run before he can hit the Main event as a test to see if he can stand on his own feet outside of The Miz.

I, for one, think the guy oozes talent and potential. He didn't start out well with the Miz, botching lines and looking pretty much terrible (possibly on purpose). But, toward the end of his association with Miz he blossomed. Sometimes getting more mic time than Miz and looking more competent, imo.

I was surprised/disappointed this past Monday when he didn't have any mic time. Yet, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, and even Evan Bourne get mic time. I mean, come on. I know that's nit-picky, but really? REALLY?!

When I heard JJ say that he thinks WWE should cool the jets on Riley, I wondered why exactly? What reasons should a guy like Riley not be utilized to the best of his ability? Should he move to the top of the card? No. But, should he be given ample opportunity to impress? Yes. Last thing we need is another glorified mid-carder like Kofi Kingston.

Others' thoughts?
