Yeah, I heard that the new The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game should be something to watch out for, and hopefully, you'll pick yourself up a copy once it is out! Just wait for the opportunity, I guess.

I'm looking for games in this same POV, style, and settings. I've got Dragon Age as well as Elder Scrolls series, but wonder what else might be out there in this genre.
In addition, I was a massive fan of the Myst series and since that story was completed with Myst V, I'm looking to find newer games in that genre as well. Other would be Scratches, Syberia I and II, and Still Life I amd II.
Huhnjo I like the same kinda games you like and the snowblind which is the developers who did baldurs gate and and the champions of norrath series did the new lord of the rings game released a few days ago, its co op/hack and slash/loot based game, i havent got it yet myself but waiting for a price drop as i want the new elder scrolls next week

| I know that the current focus in gaming is centered around first person shooters, often it seems to the exclusion of other worthy genres. My favorite genre is Hack and Slash in the vein of Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath series. The POV camera above and behind the character is how I prefer to play this genre.
Does anyone here play HnS games and if so what would you rate as similar to the previously mentioned games?
